Looks like this movie will never get made and TBH and I am happy about that, if they went with CGI I could see it being a winner but they were talking about live action.

I agree with Expresso, need to make it animated either through CGI or ingame like the cutscenes / South Park: "Make love not Warcraft". But if it goes live action it will turn out to be awful like most movies made from games. Street Fighter, Mortal Combat, Dragonball, Dead Or Alive, etc. :(

Eeeerrr. except this one was supposed to be made by Legendary Movies (responsible for the new batman movies among other things) and directed by Sam Reimi (that then decided to go direct a Disney movie instead). So it was supposed to be a real movie, not just a cheap tie-in/knock off/Uwe Boll crap. It could have really changed perception on movies made from Video Games... be a era changer like WoW was... but yeah... it does not look good for this project so far. Director is missing in action, nothing new for ages... WoW is starting to lose popularity so... I still hope they can pull some of it off, They wanted to do Arthas' story and that would be kick ass I think. Who would Arthas be though? Viggo Mortensen?
