I have read so much ranting and whining about the new expansion MOP yet no one is talking about these changes which I think have the potential to make the game super fun.

1. Heroic versions of Scholomance and the kewlest dungeon ever SM :P

2. World bosses return! - This is the best thing evah! Who doesn't love world bosses?

3. Increased focus on max level content - multiple hubs. This was the worst thing about cata. Not enough endgame content. And questing in only one place is shit.

4. 3 new battlegrounds which are more than just a variation of existing battlegrounds (aka cata battlegrounds). Payload from TF2 should be sweet, Murderball also sounds cool. But most importantly we will finally get Azshara's Crater after 7 years of speculations about the battleground. I am not sure how they will do the whole DOTA gameplay but this might be fun.

5. Account wide achievements - nuff said.

6. And there you go! Resilience will work more as a base stat which will be gained every level. If we don't have this huge difference between PvP and PvE gear I think the pvp game will be much more fun! I miss that from Vanilla. This res crap which was introduced in TBC made the game less fun imo.

7. Druids have 4 specs - okay if you are not a druid that's not a huge deal but it is for me :P

The following is some more goodness but it is not like people don't talk about it - pet battles, scenarios sound cool and challenge dungeons.

Yup it does sound like good fun. Ive got to admit a lot of those features I wasn't aware of because ive not been following it lately. Account wide achievements are interesting, its good because it means i can start a new character without feeling the need to grind old achievements i have on my 80's (still not bought cataclysm).

It's funny how everyone fixated on the Panda's and pretty much left out the cool stuff like this.

I still think WoW offers the most bang for my $15 a month and continues to deliver a very fun gaming experience whether I'm in the mood for raiding, PvP or just kicking back with some questing on an alt.

People can say what they will about Blizzard but they really do offer a lot for the money in terms of content and quality.

1. Recycled content has gotten old.

2: Bringing back something and calling it new doesn't make it exciting for me.

3. Dailies done from 1 quest hub is no different than dailies done from 2 quest hubs. Boring.

4. This interests me.

5. Is good.

6. Sounds good.

7. This will be interesting.

So 4 out of 7 points sound good to me.  That's above 50% and acceptable. I'll see you in game in about 8-10 months!

Yeah it's going to be good, can't wait. After the clean up with 4.3.2 my install is still a whopping 22 gigs.

....and that pretty much explains why things like that don't get mentioned, it is because so many people have fallen into a consistant negative spiral about the game and all they ever do is drop into these forums to make comments like that as if they were fact rather than a personal opinion. It just isn't in vogue to mention anything positive about this game anymore.

Personally looking forward to the expansion as a whole and look forward to the beta releaes to get a better idea of how all of these things are going to work and come together.

It must be Thursday, i never could get the hang of Thursdays.

Agreed, all the cool kids hate WoW, and we all know that NO ONE could possibly still be enjoying the game. /rolls eyes

On topic -

1 and 2 are okay. I really haven't enjoyed the reused content as much as I thought I would. Hated ZA/ZG, although H Deadmines was fun the first couple of times. I hated Scholomance, but I am looking forward to hitting a new version of SM (still my favorite classic dungeon).

3 - I hope they do something else other than daily hubs. Challenge dungeons and Scenarios should be a good change of pace though.

4 - Yes, new style battlegrounds are completely needed. I am most interested in the DotA style BG. Payload will never be as fun for me without my engineer. I also hope they allow us to opt out of certain BGs when we queue for random bgs. If the DotA style BG is as good as I hope, I would want to do that one more frequently.

5 - Account wide Achievements are overdue, so glad they are finally making it into the game. Along with acccount wide companion pets, and eventual account wide mounts.

6 - Another long overdue change. The resililence gap becomes tremendous towards the end of an xpack. I just hope they can keep pve gear out of pvp, and vice versa.

7 - Splitting Cat and Bear specs is extremely interesting. Ferals are going to lose a bunch of utility, but through that they may gain more dps benefits as a cat and more tanking benefits as a bear. Although, adding options for Bear DPS would be neat.

All this is good - but Blizzard still doesn't get it.   They still are not fixing their game!  Major cities will continue to go on being neglected leaving Orgrimmar and Stormwind the only cities worth going to.   They are neglecting the open world PvP that so many players are craving for.   They continue to do the same old song and dance of gear grinding.   Crafting needs a total revamp.   When will they add housing?  Guild Halls?  I look forward to MOP, but come on, there is so much that needs addressed in the current game it is sad to see them continue to neglect it.  /le sigh

The pet battle system is something I'm waiting for, I have more then a 100 of thouse lil, cute guys haha

edit: Yea it would be cool if they add housing system, Blizzard is great in stealing ideas and features  from other mmo's and making them better (imo)
