the random raid finder is a huge success for blizzard. More and more guilds are participating Random raid finder each day,

for those guilds normally would not want to raid norml mode.

Players still want to raid for gear progression, toon progression to say raids are useless are dumb. Some players claim raids are not popular and should be abolished. Yet we're seeing casuals getting into random raid finder everyday for gear progression. Which just proves players world like to raid to progress, and blizz allows casuals to raid for gears. Its working 10.5 million monthly subscribers says blizz did something right with random raid finder.

Gw2 has no end game gear progression so we'll see where it goes.

Ahh so that was the point of this thread.

Let me just add: It is not only end game gear progression - There is no "gear progression" at all in GW2. Even worse: They will not have a single subscriber. It can only mean one thing! ;-)

Only MMO-players manage to start an argument over the amount of "sparkling" in a lightsaber...

GW1 had the same basic theory.  But the armor slotted enhancers showed up quickly enough..and the gear race was on!

Too old for this, am I.
