The smartest thing Blizzard could do with World of Warcraft now, would be giving the original game and all it's expansion packs with the Panda's.  Kind of like what SOE is doing with all its EQ2 expansions......Shortly after it would be wise to offer vanilla WoW servers.

 If not I would predict doom !!!

The reason I'm saying this is that I'm missing one. I don't feel is if it would be right to buy a high price expansion before hand, just to play the Panda's.

Sure you may be able to play the pandas with missing one of them, but I would not settle for less than everything if I'm to shell out all that money.

It's about time WOW released an all in one disc for those that are behind and not wanting to buy all the expansions. Even though I won't be showing up for pandas. Everyone else have fun!

No. Pandas are an endangered species.

So I'm thinking Blizzard has to impose some limitations to rolling one, so that the panda population in-game is reflective of reality.

I've even come up with a  solution: 

Make it so that only players who have already reached cap with an animalistic race can roll a panda. 

So, it's puppies on the Ally side and cows on the Horde side.

Problem solved.

Oh, and there's no way I'm serious, of course.

Well, it looks to me like Blizzard is putting all of their eggs into the asian basket. With shrinking US subs they have to cater to their biggest audience, which has always been asian. So basically, WoW, Blizzard, Activision will do whatever the asians want.

Yeah, including all previous content in a box might be the best thing to do by now. Wows income is mainly from subs anyways and having to buy several different boxes to start turns off some potential players.

I'm amazed Blizzard hasn't done this already since this is the biggest reason they aren't getting any new players. Trying to start WoW costs so much with needing all the expansions. Such a huge cost just to get into the game. At this point in its lifespan, having all expansions for a simple $50-60 price would open it up for potentially getting alot more players.

Yes, Blizzard better realize where they are at.  Sure it's still #1 but on a down slide. 20 level free trials, free days to un subed players, and a lot of compition.

Many are the same as me.  They don't have every expantion, and feels as if the game is getting too old to pay alot !

I would guess that Panda's are their last big hope, they better play their cards right.

Nah, if the pandas don't work they will make something huge and unexpected, Blizzard are not known for giving up easy and it is better to burn out than fade away.

I think if pandas don't do it they will make a total graphical revamp and something rather epic, if that wont work either they will announce Wow 2.

Blizzard dont bundle all their xpac into one cus unlike EQ2 and other games mensioned people are still buying these these expac's in big enough numbers to warrent keeing them seperate, if people are willing to buy them seperatly why would a company bundle them into one?

No company, Blizzard, SOE, Arena net and other are "for the players" they are all "for the money".

So in short to answer the OP they are seperate for as long as it makes finance sense.

Yeah but it's blizzard. They started Titan what 2 / 3years ago now? That means we got about 10 more years before anything is in releasable shape. Not that I am complaining mind you. Since Blizzard has been infected by acticrapation, only thing you can count on for WoW2 is a cash shop and a mindless gear grind. Hey it'll be polished though right.

On topic. To bundle all of the expansions up would make sense given wow's age and number of x pacs. Acticrap will not allow that so don't hold your breath. Same with server transfers and now with the new LFR and the upcoming Real ID thing  they will never NEVER have to consolidate servers. WoW is in Milk mode. you want anything in wow...PAY UP$$$$$

MoP will be second rate ghostcrawler garbage at best. (and as his normal stuff is garbage yeah....pass) Diggin those talent twigs...err trees. Add in the fact the majority of the player base in WoW is so hyper intelligent the first thing you are going to hear complaints about is the karate panda not having auto attack. No one is gonna know how to fight anything with it.

End of the day if it makes sense and would save the consumer a few dollars = activision wont allow it. So just forget it.
