Don't think you can right now, would be a different client/exe.

But hey WoW going 64bit kinda answer the question wether blizzard has given up on WoW, clearly Blizzard can see a good reason for going 64bit, if they planned to retire it in the next few years why would they bother?

But I think it will require a full re-download of the game.  Not much point really, you won't get much benefit from it :/

That engine barely needs a 32-bit system to run it, what would be the point?

64bit native version will be faster across the board, no more 32<>64bit emulation taking up some CPU time which should result in a few extra FPS also the game will be able to take advantage of more system RAM rather then the 3GB or so a 32bit application can access (after windows and other processes takes it cut), resulting in faster load times, less streaming etc.

And it's time 64bit became norm, if Blizzard go 64bit just watch the other's fall in line.

I seriously hope that WoW go 64-bit, just because others will follow.

All x86 processors that have been produced in last like 5 years (or more don't want to check atm) are capable of 64-bit, seriously I am amazed that still 99% of games are 32-bit only... even newer ones that could use increased ram allocation.

it isnt a if!the option is already avail in the option where you click play!(it is grayed)i bet blizzard want this very bad having a huge ram limit 64 bit give can you imagine the look?the only reason it is set low now is because of the darn 3.25 gb limit!if they didnt have that they could up the quality a lot and say beside each for those with 2 gb for those with 8 gb etc etc!

My thought precisely. My calculator could run WoW at max settings.
