And ive got to say its early days yet but i have a feeling its going to be good fun!

Ive not played properly since the start of Cataclysm so seeing the world reborn is actually fascinating. The new lore and and quest content is entertaining, especially if you were interested in the first place.

The classes have been completely reworked as you all know, dumbed down some would say but its a novelty to see level 10 Warlocks running around with felguards or Mages with water elements and my class, the Holy Paladin has been given interesting new toys to play with.

Now on my return i soon discovered id been hacked for the third time since i started playing WoW in 2007, so ive spent this last few days recovering my account and was returned to me yesterday. Logging in i found i was 1 exp away from level 80, so virtually a free level and hundreds of gold worth of ore stacks filling my inventory, i also found i can fly in Azeroth, whether or not this was paid for or is just given to you now im not sure, i know my level 80 Rogue can't.

Basically ive got that WoW feeling again, the feeling i get when i get into an MMO and want to stay there, ive only ever had this feeling once on another game which was Lotro (id love to go back there soon as well).

Hope nobody that saw this title assumed this was a TOR hate thread. I would love to play TOR but truthfully my old computer is now on its way out, it wasn't a gaming rig back in the day and it most certainly isn't now (8500GT ftw!) but right now im sticking to whats available to me and whilst reading all these positive threads about TOR make me feel left out the alternative really isn't that bad to me and i think its going to be quite a fun holidays. Its probably just a novelty but if it keeps me occupied for a few weeks im not going to complain!

Yeah, I started playing wow again after a 10 month hiatus myself where I played nothing (a little Skyrim) because frankly nothing else even looks worth playing at this time, TOR included.

Glad to see you're at least having fun again as I am as well :).

More than I can say for the bitter jaded masses.

I think i will give LOTRO another try.

sometimes its refreshing to see threads like this, instead of all the haters and fanbois bashing each others. where players share what they like about the game and wats new. to op, don't worry, since tor and wow gameplay and graphics is sort of on par, don't think your thread will evolve into another flamed thread. and have fun!
