{mod edit} Blizzard is on the verge of implementing a F2P  module for WoW where they will make all their money of the AH and {mod edit}. they have decided that since others are going free to play with a store and cash for in game items and perks they are going to do it. now as to when they plan to release this F2P update well you all just have to wait for their official announcement at the next blizzcon. the best way to tell if a game is going to survive and be playable is if they stay P2P and WoW is going to be a conformist and be a F2P with a shop not a sub that unlocks all like sony is doing with EQ2.
