nah i dont really, i liked the classes getting their own stuff to regen. hell i think lately, i've been watching a friend play their hunter (ive been focusing on my priest :P), i think hunters are probably one of the most powerful classes, she kills the hell out of everything lol. It was actually one of the few things I liked about WoW when i returned for a day. Focus seems to make hunter gameplay much more fluid like.

I really liked the change to focus. If I recall correctly they never really wanted hunters to have mana to begin with, they just didn't know what to give em exactly. I hated the fact that I had to constantly pop mana pots, beg and plead for placement in the shadow priests group, drop into aspect of the viper just to get enough mana to pop off some damaging shots so when it got announced that mana was goin bye bye for hunters, I was pleased.
Now I admit, I didn't do much pvp since the change, but from what I saw, this is the one aspect of the game that having focus kinda bit hunters in the arse. Who knows though with MoP, the pole dancers could have some new tricks to keep focus up enough to actually do something other than run around in aspect of the fox 80% of the time. BG's, if played smart, shouldn't be too tough on focus, but no where near as easy as it was with mana. But I hung up my hunter pvp hat long ago, so the changes don't effect me much in that area.
So far, I'd have to say (as far as pve goes) I haven't seen too much of a downside to the focus mechanic. If for some reason in the middle or movement phase of a boss fight I find myself out fo focus it usually means I haven't been managing it correctly. So no...I din't miss mana on my hunter. |

I've played a hunter for 5 years, seen many changes and for me the best has been the change the focus, before blizzard had base our skills around cooldowns so we do go OOM within 10 seconds of a fight, with focus cooldowns take a backseat and we have to manage our focus as well as do damage, I love focus and love that I have to manage a resource. Now if they only give us dual pistols I'd sign up for that annual pass. =D |

The original beta design of hunters had hunters only regenerate focus when standing still. Mana was a better choice than that at least :P
New focus is v good, though, really makes the class fun and gives it a rotation better than a priority system. |

I did hated the change. I'm not playing my lvl80 hunter because of that. It was a change that I didn't enjoyed. |

Once they tweakedit, using focus makes the Hunter class better and more fun to play. ![]() |

I love the change. Mana just does NOT make sense for hunters. Focus, also the mechanics, like a concentration thing, makes much better sense.

Ever since i played my first hunter, i've always thought it never made sense for them to have a mana bar. "Civilization is a road by which man travels, not a house for him to dwell in. His true city is elsewhere" -Christopher H. Dawson |

It should've been more like energy, focus is retarded.
Steady & Cobra for focus regeneration is retarded. It entirely ruins the feel. "Hurry, now wait! xD"
The entire development team is in fact, retarded and the nose-dive WoW took from mid-WOTLK release to Failclysm is a real shame.
