Wow that guy is a major GW2 fanboy, I'm not trying to hate on GW2 but he needs to get a grip.

I don't see how he's a "major GW2 fanboy" or why he should "get a grip", considering he's played WoW for 5 years and made very rational points. At the most, you can call some of his points exaggerated, but I honestly don't see why WoW would have any reason not to. He didn't suggest WoW was any worse for it, only stating his opinion that all the combined design choices going into WoW's new expansion gave him the impression that they were inspired by Guild Wars 2's rising hype and potential threat.

To be perfectly honest, I commended Blizzard for some of the design choices, specifically concerning flying mounts. Having revoked the ability to do that as soon as you got to 60 was pretty smart in my opinion because it returns the world to it's incredibly large scale, an intention they had when flying mounts were at the end of leveling during The Burning Crusades.

I think the topic is worth more consideration then simply dismissing him as a fanboy.

Pretty much everything he attributes as "GW2 features" are things that where well established and tried before GW2 even made its inital apperances. Asian culture and style has been popular for years and GW factions was not the first game to use such things by a long, long shot.

Then theres the fact his impressions on MoP are laughable at best, I mean really what is there to discuss?

MoP looks pretty solid, except for the new race. Panda's in wow? Comeon. The monk class will be cool because it will good be a good dps/ heal class. The new zone looks pretty sick too. I think it will be good.
