With Blizzard leading the way in the mmorpg side of things with WOW what has Blizzard really done to bring in healthy mmorpging ?
Nothing ... that is what
Seriously every single time I say to the community the hours a player puts in per week is just too much I get bashed for it and obviously the addicts can't help themselves so why doesn't Blizzard do it ? I just don't see why WOW or another game could not be great as in challenging and fun without having to allow the player base to run itself into the ground with unreasonable playtime expectations per week.
Blizzard what is wrong with 48 hr dungeon lockouts, 2 to 2.5 week raid lockouts for everyone, 2 days max. of dailies per week, occasional 1 day where no dungeon or raid content is available to encourage players to go out in that large world you created instead of dungeon crawling all the time ....... uhmmm what about quests that mostly require a full party and at the end of chains have actual bosses that can kill people ? (very tired of seeing some quest bosses have some raid/dungeon like mechanics but can't live long enough to use any of the abilities)
Seriously player base and Blizzard we can still have a difficult game and have it be healthy. |

What has Blizzard done for healthy gaming? -No need to spawn camp -Rest XP -Very little grind while leveling compared to most of pre-WoW MMOs -They nerf their previous tier content once next has been released so that more casuals can experience it too |

Healthy gaming isn't all about the game compagny. It's about the player.
If you can't heal healthy or go out and take a walk or go to the gym. IT'S YOUR FAULT. Not the game compagny. Even if you can raid everyday or need to grind alot, it's YOUR responsability to manage your play time.
Blizzard even encourage you during the loading sometime to take a break. |

Why ask the game dealer to restrict who can use their product. If you cannot use the product responsibly you are an addict. Seek a rehab not help from the game dealer. Just saying - goes for any game. Currently playing Skyrim and Crusader Kings II. |

Who cares about healthy gaming . Who are u or anyone else to decide whats healthy for me or anyone else. For the record icve played wow maybe 12 hrs total the last 3 months. That said i and anyone else should be able to play wow as much as we want. Not only should wow do nothing about it but since im playign them 15 dollars a month for the right to play if they put a limit on how much i could play a week id b e a bit pissed. Sorry but its up to the individual to decide what is to much or to little. If u dont like your guilds raiding schedule dont raid. simple. I know some guilds treat raiding like a job and that sucks but truth is i have played wow for 15 straight hrs before just leveling never doing a dungeon or raid. Thats my right and who is blizzard or any companin charging me 15 dollars a month to say how much i can play a day or week or month. |

It's not blizzards fault that people are weak minded, maybe those people should take responsibility for their lives and stop blaming, games, movies etc... I cant stand people who think they know whats best for others. |

Would you really want Blizzard telling you how to play? "Sorry no dungeons for you today cause you run them twice yesterday" but I am on holiday for a week! after the week is over I promise I will go back to being casual!
Do you really want Blizzard to turn into China? (referring here how China is regulating online time of their players) I don't. "If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day, if you teach him how to fish, you feed him for a lifetime" |
