Eve, Ryzom, Ultima Online, Fallen Earth, Asheron's Call, Darkfall, Wurm and, other similar games deliver immersive Worlds, not Maps with mini-games or killing with no story. Even if you do not like the games themselves, support and appreciate the effort of developers to try something new.

I am sorry to have to tell you this but the game format you know as MMO’s no longer exists. Every MMO release is treated like a solo game by the players, they play for one or two months then move on. During your one or two months it takes you to beat the game you use RMT’s to buy your way to the top. “Finish Line Photos” are all the rage and you take a picture of yourself with all the uber gear you have paid for which goes on the scoreboard at Windows Live. I've plaid too many mmo's and now they all seam to look the same, that said wow is just as fun, boring, chalanging as all others out there =)

I'd tell myself: "Be prepared for the end of SWG as you know it so enjoy it while it lasts. Be warned that if you get into WoW you will want to get the collectors edition of everything so don't waste time and spend the extra money. But also be warned that WoW will skew your vision of what is acceptable in an MMO, so it may be better if you never get into Wow in the first place, have faith in other games. Also, stop dating <person will remain nameless>. In the very long run, it won't work out. Stay in school. Get out of the stock market now, and start investing again in March of 2009." I think that about covers most everything for now.
