While its nice to see you going out as a matyr, i am afraid your dramatics have had little to no effect, seeing the very first reply to your post. After all people here have a one track mind and don't mind stooping to the level of the so called "no life losers" they hate so much.

But i guess thats what you get when you have a site that caters to more than one game. People will always try to compare and compete, even when there is nothing in common between the said games other than the fact that they are MMOs. Instead of talking about a game and its features, mechanichs, classes, etc. people will defend/bash eash others game, often with both sides making posts with nothing but pure bullshit.

Now in an ideal world, each game's message board would have a designated mvp poster who would take care of the crap posts or at the very least ban people who have nothing better to do with their time but make stupid posts which make you scratch your head and wonder if there really is a human sitting at the other end of the screen (hi googajoob7 =D). Keep in mind this will also keep the one and only stat monster Zorndorf or any other wow fanbot away from your game.

But thank God we don't live in an ideal world. Its a free-for-all here and it makes for some prime time entertainment. And while it saddens me to see an intelligent entertainer leave, its good to know that the stupid ones are still around to keep the good times rolling.

Goodbye Temp.

Did you just miss the huge thread where mmorpg.com basically defended Blizzard's first steps at an ingame cash shop? Or you chose to not acknowledge its existence? In case you really missed it, here is a link:

I don't think it was a ever a secret that this site was serving mostly people who are looking for alternatives to the MMOs they are currently playing. And since a very big portion of the population has played WoW, a good portion of the population of this site will be searching for alternatives to that game.

A good portion of the above mentioned ex-WoW population will treat WoW as an ex girlfriend. But that's a problem with the individuals. It's exactly the same attitude that you exhibit frequently, when trash talking anything non-WoW (Aion being a prime target these days).

In any case, his leaving is a loss. Unfortunately without realizing what the big issue is with the inclusion of RMT shops in a number of P2P games. Personally, I'll just bide my time and wait until Blizzard follows the exact same path SOE and Cryptic did before her, ie., offering cosmetic items at first and then moving to game altering or game improving items.

The average Aion ratings on the web now is 8.00 (http://www.gamerankings.com/pc/932526-aion/index.html), with the very profound PC gamer giving it 6.0.

The average WotLK rating on the web is 9.46 (http://www.gamerankings.com/pc/942519-world-of-warcraft-wrath-of-the-lich-king/index.html)

On MMORPG.COM Aion has gotten the BEST review EVER a whopping 8.7 and WOW gets 8.1 (and that makes a difference of a WHOPPING 2.1  in .... evaluating 2 games with the AVERAGE found on the web.

Aion deserves a higher review score than WoW.  It's a superior game in each and every way.

Flaming this comment is pointless, I am purely stating fact.

And people like you make this whole genre go down. Aion is nothing more than a simplified WoW clone(yes, I said simplified). Now, you'll probably go "BUT ZOMG LVLING TAKES 5 YEARS THAT MEANS ITS SO MUCH HARDER THAN WOW"...not really, no.
The only thing WoW does better than Aion is large(very large)-scale PvP, because then things aren't that noticeable. And again, that's so horribly done compared to DAOC or L2, it barely worths this mention.
WoW is here to stay, but if people would stop supporting its obvious clones(even more lolzy is them saying they are completely different games), then devs might stop believing that MMORPG players are people who are just too bored by WoW but too thick to try another MMO model. And then, we will finally have a MMO, where there are more things than combat, loots and grinding, packed together in an instanced world.

I don't really like being grouped like that.  I have played both games and drew this conclusion.

I found RoM better than WoW to be honest, WoW is simply showing it's age in comparison now.

Most of the WoW haters started up when Vivendi bought Blizzard. There is no more corrupt company than Vivendi, mabye equally corrupt. But you can't surpass Vivendi in that.    Black to the core.

I won't mention how this pokemon pixellated mess and polished turd was an horrible experience to me but about greed, integrity and Blizzard :

Their desperate way they try to get any buck they can , this secure account thing could be free i'm sure, the paid pve to pvp server transfer 4 days before Warhammer launch (after they repeated for many years that wouldn't feel right to do so, talk about integrity and trust). And now the item shop meaning players will have stuff according to an extra fee, not to the general subscription. As if they needed the money ; as if they couldn't give to charity some bucks from the billions they make if they are so caring, as if they couldn't give 100 % of this extra fee to charity. This behavior is disgusting and pathetic.

I won't list all paid services they offer, it's too long but I think if you paid their game and expansions and so many subscription months they should grant you at least a free transfer, a free name change, etc, by account, even reduce a bit your subscription fee if you were a faithful client for a long time. Blizzard is rolling for greed everytime.

Need i mention the bot players in Alterac for months without Blizzard doing anything, invisible game masters or that were never hired, never stopped gold spamming for months on /2., rude and offensive general chats, persistent off-topic channel use, lack of knowledge of the game by GMs? I had this bad experience of a guy hacking our guild chat and speaking through our nicks and throwing insults, so i complained to a GM and received an automated answer 3 hours later telling me general bullshit and not recognizing/knowing that this hack exists. I asked like 4 things in my WoW playtime, everytime i received some hours later automated answers full of bullshit or refering me to the forums. So you get those kids chatting for ages in SMS style about rape and porno stuff in Stormwind and no GM ever is here telling them to stop.

Where the heck is all the sub money going, can't you hire real decent game masters? Was I not paying for a quality of service too?

Special award goes to RP rules that were never enforced on dedicated servers (who could ever RP in the WoW universe anyway, with copied "lore" popping out of the ground to sell more books and justify expansions), with lots of retards spoiling in any way the basics of RP you would try to create. I guess here too they couldn't spend our sub money to implement their own rules by hiring game masters and policing chat channels?

So now, before another victimized drama queen leaves the forum (he must have alts already anyway) let's make things clear : Blizzard has only customers now, not players. Blizzard is ruled by its shareholders who don't give a f**k about games and integrity as long as it brings more money (and fanbois even admit that it's a firm and should act as one!!!).

So don't expect anything good from players and forum users who still think a game should be more than ripping off players.

Man so much written and yet its all rubbish, this poster has always hated on WoW.  i'm still trying to find out what psychological damage blizzard inflicted on them to cause them to be this way.

Ever meet a Hardcore Nintendo fan during the pre-luanch of the Wii. Same logic. Me and my friends would have major disputes over wether the Gamecube was the Best gameing system or not.

(RIP] OP

But this is nothing. Try dealing with being Banned from other gaming MMORPG forums, because Mods are serious WoW haters. Everytime a argument comes up, they aways point the finger at the players that Dont hate WoW (not jusy WoW fans).

I have been banned from Guild Wars forums, and Warhammer Forums, cause of this.

Some people take this forum shit way too seriously.

Can't even have a few laughs anymore because someone will go all Emo on us and rage quit.

It's pathetic, sorry but it is.

Hmm, the WoW community was far better than the EQ1 community on Tunare server. I never had any problem on WoW and plenty in EQ1 with griefers and trainers.

If you have any questions please ask. I have moved on to WoW from eq and no longer have any desire to play a dead game. Thank you. (posted by another selling his account in EQ1)

I just do not understand all these companies that are only out to make money...

Maybe you can start up a non-profit and make the end all of MMOs...

Just sayin...
