I am looking into changing from DSL to Cable. I have sign up with Battle net as Wow has asked all of us to do using my DSL address. If i switch to Cable modem i will venture to guess i will end up having a new address for my E-mail. Any idea's on how to change my battle net account from my old IP address to the new one? NEVER USE AN ISP'S EMAIL ADDRESS EVER! Get a google or hotmail address then you can switch ISP's all you like. what I am saying is the type of connection or ISP is irrelavent, your email address however might not if you registered on bnet with say me@dsl.com, then when you move to cable you'll probably lose that address and have a me@cable.com address. By using a me@googlemail.com or me@hotmail.com then problem solved. So right this minute go to google or hotmail and setup an email address (even its its just the address you want to use for bnet), then log into bnet and change your details to your login to the new emaill address. Phew hopes thats clear. |
