The question still remains: Will it be fantasy, sci-fi, or something completely different?  No matter what, it probably won't be out for another five years knowing Blizzard.

I wonder if they are just building the mechanics (the guts) of the game and going to slap in the "skin" (i.e., Fantasy, Sci-Fi, or combination thereof) the year or two before release.  This would give them the benefit of gauging the market at the time more accurately.

Heh, talk about slow and behind the times.  That was posted 2 weeks ago, and has been fully discussed and pondered over on every forum that exists....old news now and its back to waiting until Blizzard says something else.

I hope it will be warcraft 4 xD   I kinda like the strategy game more.  But it is impossible, since they don't even have a storyline to continue.  They will have to drop wow aside to do that.

That has not been confirmed, and in fact the majority of the community has come to the conclusion that the "Cataclysm" trademark is for the next WoW expansion, not the new MMOG (it makes sense with WoW lore)... of course we won't know for sure until Blizzard spills the beans.

i think its funny no one even thought to concider maybe blizzard is going to do an IP port of an asian grinder game.. like many other companies do, they will find some popular game in korea/china/tawian/ or japan and port it over to english players

doesnt have to be WC or SC or WoW based :P it could be full of fairies and butterflys for all we know O_O or perhaps a carebear mmo when you shoot rainbows.. lmao

long story short.. who cares until blizzard steps up and says what it is.
