when it goes live, you'll need to be level 85 and have ilevel 353 gear.

Once Mists of Pandaria launches, you'll need to be level 90 and have ilevel 425 gear.

Shouldn't take you long to get that ilevel? Are you sure you don't have that yet?

Can get 378+ in a day easily.

So...the ilvl shouldn't matter.

Though 353's won't be doing anything with 400's+ running around.

Getting 353 ilvl is not as easy as people are saying unless you already devoted a lot of time with the game.

Tried getting a friend up that just dinged 85, and yet she only had 339 by the time I crafted her all 377 gear.

To a casual who plays for a few months and then quits (plus has work/family/other hobbies and responsibilities), it's a tall order to get in just a week's time.  Even if they have 500g per piece to buy the 377 gear on the auction house (depending on the server).

I don't have any characters high enough to see the Theremore scenario myself, but judging from the official forums and the ingame chatter, it's a massive failure. I'm especially loving how blue names are telling people to buy the newest WoW novel if they want to understand what's happening in the scenario, rather than putting that stuff in the game where it belongs.

my highest lvld chars r lvl 80 .currently workin on my worgen to lvl her up 2 lvl 80 as well :)

The devs definitely could have done it better.. But there is the other side of it.  This is going to be repeatable content.. something we will do many times at 90.. do we really want a ton of dialog?    I already get annoyed having to listen to ´powah´.. and that is only 15 seconds.

They should have added a few quests before the scenerio.. or at least have players hear a speech from Garrosh one time before being able to queue.. something like that.

Also, I am calling BS on your comment about a blue telling people to read the book if they want to know the lore..  never happened,  link please?  The devs have admitted that the lore leading up to the event was weak, but they never told people they needed to read the book if they want the lore.  Of course they recommend the book to people and say it is great.. but you are making it sound like they are shorting us on the lore, then forcing us to buy the book.

It is group content that needs to have some requirement.  They already made it very easy.. if they made it so people with ilvl 325 could do it, it would be a compete joke for anyone with 380ish.

Check the AH,  for 1000g  you can easily buy pvp and epics.   Tell you friend she doesn´t have to equip them, just put them in her backpack.. after she does the scenario a few times..  put the gear back on the AH and she will get most of her money back.

That's a great idea, but I'd only recommend it when grouping with people you know!
