that my account has been merged with my new battle net account. I go check my email and no notice or any word about said conversion. I write a ticket for support since I cannot ask on the official forums due to the fact that I do not have any battle net info. I try a password recovery and I am informed that I have no wow account merged with the battle net account and to try the wow site. I enter my pw and account name and that site tells me that my wow account is merged with my battle net account. He he sees where I am going with this. If by chance I was hacked, I think the hacker will enjoy the single level 10 toon with 20 silver. It only cost me 19.95 used for the game so I guess that a cheap lesson learned. I have never been hacked before. This year has been so interesting: my first speeding ticket, my first Mac (I have three pc's already but got a Mac for programming needs), and my first hacked gaming account. |

Did you try logging into your bnet account at the bnet website? |

yes i did. funny thing is until today I had no battlenet account. I could not log in because of all the above so I made one. I tried to merge my wow account into it afterwards and got the message it was already merged. I have only bought the game three wekks ago so it is very disconcerting. |

A further chapter in this tale. I have been trying to call blizzard all day today. I get busy signals and rings converting into bust signals. I hope my problem gets resolved soon . My free 30 days is running out and I would hate to get auto charged for a game I have no access too. I truly detest dealing with support for any game. I will have to say the most pleasent experience was when I needed to contact DAOC support. They were very helpful. My worst has to be experiences with SOE. I am interested to see how Blizzard measures up in this matter. |

So with what has happened you are unable to log into WoW to play now? Because after you have merged the account, I know they say it can take some time to complete the process from both ends. However you should stilll be able to play. your account log in should be your email address that you setup, rather then your account name that was prior to merging. I hope this helps, if not then I am sure Blizzard will get it fixed at some time. I can say that if/when you do eventually speak to them they will most likely credit you for any days missed not being able to play because of the situation. They are really good about making sure you get what you pay for in game time. That would include your first 30 days. So if you are supposed to have 30 days free game time, they will make sure you get 30 days free game time. |

I merged my accounts yesterday. I have had no problems, and was able to log into my WOW account off the WOW web page. Sorry you are having problems. |
