The film is going to happen, and at blizzcon they said they are working with Legendary Films to create the movie.

Let's just pray the movie is atleast PG-13, and not some dumbed down version of an epic story line.  Because the game looks like an over-detailed cartoon people forget it's called world of WARCRAFT.

You say that WoW looks like an over detailed cartoon and yet you hope for a pg-13 and up rated movie? Hehe, that doesn't make any sense. The Warcraft series has always been cartoonish and they won't change that, but as they're going to make the movie as a live action, I recon it'll be something closer to Narnia / Disney version of Lord of the Rings rather than the epic war movie we hope for ;p

they did a pretty good job with thier cg animations though. if the whole movie would be epic like those, all will be well

They have already said that it's not going to be animated, but live action, that is, real people (probably with costumes though).

 The Warcraft movie is CG animated, so it would just be voice actors.

This will be hard choosing the right actors to play WoW characters. But i think i have pretty good idea who will cast some of the heroes in the orc race. but first we have to consider what are the physics of an orc. They are big, buffed up, green lol, rugged, strong, and etc (you know what i mean). Orcs also has an aura both a true warrior and a savage killer. To choose the right person for the job we need actors that fits or compliments the complexity of the suit and make that will be put on them. My 1st suggestion is Micky Rourke( the actor from sin city as Marv and The Wrestler) he can play as Thrall. i think he would in this one perfectly. Second one is Ron Perlman (Hellboy and The Isle of Dr. Moreau) he could also be a perfect fit for a draenel or a burning legion. Lastly is Jack Nicholson ( Wolf and joker).

I will also suggest that john Travolta can be casted as a blood elf Kael (only if he could loose some weight ).
