Tue Aug 14 2012 9:44AM ReportMan this would have been exciting news 7 years ago. Now? Meh! DDO and GW1 has proved they can make lots of money and make enough content to make customers happy with a average of 4-7 bucks a month from customers.
I have been playing GW2 and its as quality as an MMO can get. I am having bucks of fun in PvE and WvW. So why would I jump ship to play an older game and pay more? Market value of Vanguard is F2P but not as SoE has it set up. Make it really free to play or charge 4-6 bucks a month.

You can get flying mounts that can actually fly where you want them to. Unfortunately, the rest was too poor to keep me playing, even for "free" (of course, none of the races, and only one of the classes I wanted to play were free, most you had to buy... so, yeah, that stinks.)
Combat is just, wow, 2007 status-quo awful. Animations, though mo-capped, look clunky and bad. Voice acting, the little that there is, is also poor. The game chugs along, with broken quests and glitches. It seems like it could have been a decent game six years ago, if it had been finished properly, but now? You've gotta be really hardcore into old mmo game mechanics to enjoy this.
