I keep coming back to vanguard. I just love the crafting and diplomacy systems. It has a great choice of races and classes to choose from. They also have the best huge dungeons to explore, far better than any other mmo i've played.

It took me 4 attempts over the past 2 years to finally enjoy this game which has improved vastly since its chaotic release. There are still a few bugs here and there but nothing major and customer service is top-notch and very quick in assisting you. Graphics are superb. This game is a true live-environment and I very often halt just to admire the scenery. Quests are enjoyable and crafting is challenging. I haven't tried the diplomacy sphere yet. The world is huge (which induces that "adventure-feeling" I was looking for) and the community very helpful. It is a shame SOE does not invest in the game what it deserves as this is a true gem. Nevertheless improvements are made on a regular basis. It is now what it should have been at release.

Also, this game has loads of depth, from the intricacies of crafting, to diplomacy and sheer exploration. Combine this with a mature community and you have just a few of the factors that make this game shine.

Plenty of quality, and sometimes innovative content to experience. The best crafting system out there (imo), and the only MMO that features the unique Diplomacy gameplay sphere. The only things lacking are pvp and better performance.

Having a blast. For those saying the game is lagging and doesnt run in Vista, well my wife and I are running Vista 64 on 2 year old machines and we have no problems whatsoever. I am sorry to hear of your issues, but perhaps you should update drivers or something.
For those who are looking for a great game that is not easy mode, come check out Vanguard again. It has come a LONG way.
