Actually, they announced this last week, so I'm assuming the update could be as early as this week.

I've been waiting for a trial of this games, have read alot of good things about the ongoing fixes.

I applaud the effort. It just seems like this is a tad to late. I know people will disagree with me, but this game should of been haulted when SIgil got canned. They should of taken down servers and began remaking Vangaurd they way it was suppose to be. Then a re-launch would of garnished alot more subs. I will be trying out the trail for the sake of it being free, but I doubt it would bring me back to the game. One thing I will always enjoy about Vangaurd tho, is it's huge landmass. It really felt like a huge world. To bad everything in the world was a mess.

I too have been waiting for the trial. I've been looking forward to a large, seemless PvE game world.

Finally! I'm glad to see the progress they've made, it's amazing considering how small their team is. Maybe now Vanguard will begin to live up to it's higher potential.

The free isle trial is a good idea.  I'll give it a try for sure.

The new models from what I've seen are not what I expected, but if it increases performance that is maybe a good compromise.  Vanguard is potentially great/good game that largely failed in the technical aspects, in my opinion.  Hopefully as performance is increased the other aspects of the game will shiine through.

And just to clarify, are all the races available on the trial isle?

yes they are all playable.

 I'm so stoked about them finally having a trial. Will definitely try it.
