Its looking like SOE is both the developer and publisher of vanguard I hope im wrong and its not. If so you can count on a CU then alter a NGE.

go to www.vanguardsoh.com and look under the faqs. Lots of people were concerned with SOE being involved, and the faqs address all your worries.

I have playd SWG 2,5 years.

I have lost both my master professions with the NGE.

Still: making panick because of SOE is completly irrational. SOE is as good or bad as any big game company.

hmm seems a bit trollish....

 it seems to me that even without your previous conversation, common sense would tell you that the first source of info would be the developer's site and the publishers site.. looking to any retailers site for info would be akin to asking a walmart employee who a developer/publisher is, you could get lucky and actually find one that knows but most likely they would not.

on a side note, just out of curiosity, does being banned from one SOE game automatically ban you from all SOE games? I am admittedly a bit ignorant when it comes to these sort of things. but it may explain your paranoia of this being an SOE game since you say you were banned from SWG..

Ok Since SOE is So great How about EQ2 IT got a CU also. So did planet side,  SWG  did also as we all know. SO your going to tell me that SOE is so great and Vanguard doesn't face the same fate?

and FYI I've not seen other game companys total remake the game 6 months a year and so on after its out and everyone had time to get settled in to the characters they had.

Since I'm wearing my civility hat today, I'll just tell you that SOE is only publishing the game. Sigil has complete control over the intellectual property that is Vanguard. The only thing SOE has control over is servers and box art, which if I may say so they are really quite good at.

Oh come on, dont spring at everyones throat just because of some small joke.

And on topic, I wasnt happy with everything SOE did in SWG or EQ2, but I have played MANY MMOs, and SWG and EQ2 have much, much more and better content that was changed or cut than ANY other MMO ever HAD in it - safe WOW which is just another class of game.

No, even with all the bad days I surely had with playing SOE games, I had so many GOOD in SWG and EQ2, they surely do not deserve that harsh verdict. An NO I DONT work for SOE or anyone.
