After some ppl told me there would be an open beta in Vanguard, others now told me there won't, which is a great disappointment for me, tbh. While I heard some great and some bad things about Vanguard, I wanted to see it for myself. After wasting money on disasters like "Dark and Light" and RFO I must say I have no will to spent money on another game I can not try out. I have seen so many bad games in the recent time, I wont buy a game I cant try. I am not on the rich side, so buying a game is a big investment for me. I really would like to see what I get before I buy it. You don't buy a car only based on pictures in an advertisement. So I hope they change their minds and make an Open Beta or a tiral period. I wont pay for a game I only have seen screenshots!

I wont pay for a game I only have seen screenshots! your right there wont be an open beta, but the last phase of beta (beta 5) they will be removing the NDA and even though it is a closed beta they will be opening up multiple servers for testing. Ive read numbers like 25k+ people will be brought in to test the game, so the odds of you getting in beta at that point are pretty good.

But I hear things are being "tuned" whatever that means I positively wanna try this game before buying it for all these reasons.

I know what you mean Elikal, there are so many MMOs now that try before you buy seems the only way to decide because so many of them look good on paper but turn out to be either unplayable or just not fun. anarchyart, why bring up old opinions? It seems to me that Elikal has adjusted his thinking and decided to give it a fair trial after finding out new info - would you prefer that people stick to whatever snap judgement they had just out of stubborness - not good! Hopefully you get in beta 5. If not there will be a ton of info released that will allow you to see the game as good as possible without playing it prior to release. It does suck when a game turns out ot be a flop after spending $.
