Well i have not played this game yet hehe. But from the videos i have seen on youtube, the combat system looks like a copy of a free korean mmorpg. The rest of the game looks good, but I don't know if i can stand crappy pvm. After i play the beta i will update this post.

He should have fixed his first game, not sold out. Remember if you play WoW, or you are a non-hardcore player, the Vanguard players have stated "we don't want you". Take the hint and avoid this turd. |

I don't think the video's do the combat system justice. Have you read the info released on the combat system yet? I'm pretty exited about the system they are planning on implementing. |

you do a hell of alot more whining and crying than any fanboi i have ever seen in any game, period. how can you sit up there and talk about people crying when thats all you ever do in any post you make? your ENTIRE LIFE is obviously full of insulting people and disappointment because a game isn't being made just for you...yeah your a real freaking winner! vanguard players are not made up of the few trolls on the vanguard forums, even though thats a concept i know you do not understand. in your world everyone is a stereo type, everything is a generalization. keep believing that garbage you write because you are butthurt over brad not making your eq warrior the way you wanted..... |

I have to agree I have read about it and am pretty excited. And those videos on Youtube aren't that bad first of all and 2nd of all aren't the only ones out there have a look around and research for yourself it's the only way to form you OWN informed opinoin. |

Judging combat by videos for a game that is in closed beta is like pissing against the wind. Cmon guys, be serious for a second, you dont judge a car by its paint color, right? At best, you could judge the quality of graphics or the animation, but considering this game is still in closed beta, anything you say is just your opinion based on something that may not be tommorow.

When I was 8...I thought the GI JOE Headquarters looked super cool on TV. Then I got it for Xmas and it sucked. I learned a valuable lesson that day...watching a video may not give you the whole picture! Take my wisdom to heart, my son. |

Thats my major problem, there are other issues but as a gamer who has full motor skills (WHICH IS REALLY RARE ON THIS AND OTHER MMO FORUMS IT WOULD SEEM.) I dont want to play a game that a cripple would excel at... Rites of the Four Horsemen |

LOL me? a ring leader? hahaha that is quite funny. i spend like 80% of my time here as apposed to the OVF, why? because i like to hear objective opinions and different point of views, i also like alot of different games not just vanguard. the problem isn't what he says its how he says it, i cant stand him because of his generalizations and insults he posts every time. i know i have explained this to you before, if someone cant have a civilized discussion without stereotyping people or insulting them then i don't want any part of it, but i will call you out on it. if you disagree with my point of view that is fine, but when people come here and post ridiculous stuff full of insults and generalizations for no other reason other than to draw attention to themselves then yeah, i have a problem with that. there is a forum for that type of stuff, its called fohguild.org...if i wanted to get into huge name calling wars i would go there.
i was being honest in my reply to his post, again its not what he said its how he says it. and he has made it quite apparent that he is mad because his eq warrior wasn't the way he felt it should have been. to quote you, that is as "emo" as it gets on these boards....and the irony is he is calling vanguard fans "cry baby's". so if you have a problem with me speaking the truth (at least in my mind) and calling him out on that, then feel free to take your own advice and "make your own community forums if you cant stand people being honest... may i ask what mmorpg's have you played and thought had a good combat system? personally i would love a in depth mmog with great twitch combat but i have not yet seen it. the game that got me hooked to mmorpg's was eq1 and yeah....i did not play it for over 3 years because it had good combat system that is for sure. i loved it because of the rpg aspect and the community, it was the first online game to remind me on my pnp D&D days, it felt like D&D put into a online world simulation at the time and i loved it. thats why the combat isn't as big of a factor for me in vanguard, but i do understand if people like you don't like it. i will say i am alot more worried about vanguards animations than the combat it self...the creature animations i have seen don't look much different than some of the old eq1 animations, that needs to change IMHO. |
