As some have said I'm more interested in seeing the group dynamic but for a short solo vid its not too shabby.  It also gives an idea how outdated most of the info is as its currently listed that bards only get throwing daggers for a ranged weap.  :)

Would have loved to see more playing with the custom songs but I suppose I'd make a standard song for soloing as well and stick with it so its not surprising. 

For medium settings it looked pretty decent.

what kinda codec is used for the video? and dont tell me, its divx or xvid. it must be something other, cause im not able to play it...

EDIT: Scratch that Question, found it out by my self. its a 3ivx codec. just google for it, if you dont have it. seams to be a MacOS codec, but there also Windows Binaries for.

aye, this is a really nice clip! also you can see nice details on the UI. i allready love the UI, hehe. its small and clearly arranged. the sound effects seams to be syncro to the battle.

The video is too short to come to any conclusions. I do love the graphics and i bet the game will look really good as soon as they get those animations completed.  I am building a computer this winter so i should be able to run it at that quality.  I wish he would have spun the camera around so we could see from the side or back of the carrion bug thing. lol.

If you want even more game footage follow that link, its the Germany GC in streaming for so you don't have to d/l.. should start playing in 5-10 sec.  If you havn't seen it yet, it pretty much goes: character creation --> running around --> boats --> flying mounts.

I watched this video yesterday.  I wasn't impressed.

The combat is stiff, stark and uninteresting.  The world also seems stark and uninteresting.  I guess some of that might be due to it still being in beta.

But why would they release a video like this, if they're trying to generate interest in the game?  If anythng, it just confirms the reputation the game has for mediocrity and tedium.

And seriously, they should realy reconsider their combat system, if what i saw is all they got, its an unimaginative bore fest to say the least.

Still, its beta 3, so they have a few more beta phases to work things out i guess. *shrug*
