Vanguard is
going to have very few invisible walls if any, according sigil will only use
them to avoid exploits or pointless deaths(such as falling to a place that you
can’t reach normally) otherwise you will be free to go to whatever place you
want. |

Exactly. The devs are going by the philosophy of, "if you can see it, you can probably (99%+ chance) go to it" You will probably have a hard time finding invisible walls. And you will be free to jump to your death in a variety of fashions. :D (just not if the landing is somehow in a place you can't possible reach thus making it impossible to recover the gear off your crushed and broken former body) ;) |

AS far as I know, there will be very few instances and invisible walls. It will be an open environment like WoW.
I am the type of player where I like to do everything and anything from time to time. |

On top of that, there won't be many inartificial barriers, such as in Wow, where there are incredibly steep rock faces (seemingly, sometimes, without purpose or reason) to limit your travel. If you can't climb it at this point, you'll have flying mounts by the end that will allow you to fly over the mountains and/or land on them.

Not intended as a flame, but it's entirely a persistant free-roaming world, which WoW is not. If you've played SWG, think that, but combine all of the planets together and increase it x10... There are NO load zones, only server boarder zones... |

I don't believe you will be able to scale sheer walls the same way you were in SWG, but otherwise it looks like the world will be wide open.

Open environments, yes. If you can see it, you can most like go to it. Note: It also seems I remember vaguely that "climbing" may be included in the game at some point. I cannot link that, but I seem that one Dev did remark that that may be added. Flying mounts (at high level) will also be a boon to traveling.

Climbing is a type of mobility that will not be in at launch, but is something they consider likely to be added at some point. They did not yet say if it would be in shortly after launch or included as part of an expansion etc. |

I'm sure there will be some boundaries but Sigil has said that they are building a HUGE world and they want to build FREEDOM into it [their words, not mine]. So, it sounds like it will be right up your alley. |

according to all the info it does look like a pretty open world, I am sure if there is a mountain you want to climb you will not be able to but as in EQII when you want to run over a hill there should be no limitations, I guess until realease we will be able to find out what it is really like. <cant wait>

Very open world from what I have been told, full of zone lines everywhere that are totally invisible and in some locations the edge of the zone looks like a jagged line so that you can zone numerous times while moving forward 100 yards. |

Call it a hunch but I doubt your "source" knew that. ;) |
