The VGhaters are worse than the Vanbois these days Summary: 1. es tee ef u, and let the gameplay do the talking 2. continue the nonsensical bashing and end up looking like a dolt when the game becomes the next best thing to lesbian pr0n |

And when the hype isn't proportional to the game at release, and when SOE begins taking on more and more responsibilities, remember this post you made... |

SOE CAN'T take a more active role since they DON'T own even the tiniest share in the game. They have no more control over Vanguard than they have over Gods and Heros. And when it comes to operating servers, SOE does a great job. My source says the game is much more responsive and has much less latency on the SOE server than it did on the MS server. So the game is already better for having made the move from MS to SOE as publisher.

Yeah right. Just wait and watch. There will be either a complete buyout or a merger. Mark my words. If I am proven wrong in a year or so after Vanguard's release, I'll gladly admit it... |

Actually it's more of a legal thing...they actually can't by contract unless Sigil sells the rights, and I don't think they would have gone to the extent of buying the back just to turn around and sell them again =P

another frustrated SWG player... SWG never been a really good game btw. First of all, I tend to agree with Echobe. While I do not want to see it happen, and while I would love it if Vanguard becomes the game many of us have been waiting for since November 15th 2005, I am not naive enough to let my hope overwhelm my common sense and doubt. Second, I'm not sure if you ever played SWG or not, but there was a quality to the game that hasn't been matched by anything else I've played. I don't know exactly how to quantify it, but its the sort of quality that the people who enjoy playing a game like WoW could never really understand. |

I still have my account but play VERY rarely. Sure, some stuff were good, but all around, it was an empty game. And don't tell me "SWG allowed you to make your own content", cause i know all of that... /waits for vanguard BTW, i'm playing EQ1 progression server. The true original game that started it all. And yes, i did play UO (beta 3 and a couple months after that). |

SOE will own the whole thing lock, stock, and barrel within two years when Brad does the same thing he did last time, wander off to start a new game. But who cares this time? There are like 5 or 6 decent games coming out and it's not like we only have EQ1 like last time (till DAOC came out that is).
If you have any questions please ask. I have moved on to WoW from eq and no longer have any desire to play a dead game. Thank you. (posted by another selling his account in EQ1) |

So, why don't you fill us in on what Brad did the last time? Because from what you are saying, I am fairly sure you don't have a clue what went down with Everquest.

You clicked the wrong link. The SWG emo-fest is located just down the hall to the left. |

LOL thanks. Just giving him a hard time really, I can feel for the people who lost a game that was dear to them. On the other hand, at some point you've gotta move on and not try to piss in everybody else's cheerios. |
