From the official forums -- (7:01 p.m., Aug. 11) Beta 3 officially begun -- 8/11/2006! Just logged in and there were several brand new people in. We have over 1,000 invites out from the new pools, and will continue to bring in 500 more a day until we reach critical mass and/or need to adjust population or optimize something. *This will start Monday as we want to see how the weekend goes.* We've done several patches during beta 2.9999 and the vast majority of what we wanted to accomplish before starting beta 3 is in, and we are able to patch regularly, so we will continue to improve, tweak, polulate, and get the rest of Qalia open during the beta 3 period. If there are any questions, while I can't answer details, I will do my best to monitor this thread. Hey, Brad, get on your Human Resources Dept to hire someone for that Associate Designer position you have open. I applied for it and did so with the attitude that I would bring some valuable tools to Sigil(and am absolutely qualified). You love making MMORPGs and I love to see them be the best they can be. I broke my teeth on EQ and still consider it to be the best MMO out there. I don't know where you are planning on going after VG, but I've got a game that I am dying to get made. I'm getting close to making a fortune with a patent that I own, and if I do, I'll be able to bring more than just ideas to the table, I'll be able to bring cold hard cash as well. Brad, Good news indeed. I've been reading all the good news on the main forums and it seems like everyone is excited! I hope this weekend goes smooth enough for you guys and everyone beta testing. My guild, the Seraphim, and I are refreshing our mailboxes like mad...probably like every other Vanguard fan out there. Keep on marching Brad! Okay, stop refreshing your e-mail until Monday, implied Aradune. They will hold up for the weekend and observe, then send out new invites starting Monday.

Yeah, I've been doing the same too! I guess use Vanbois are crazy indeed. I guess it's just the feeling of an empty mailbox that keeps my hopes up this weekend! Ive been waiting to get into this beta for a while now. (just like everyone else) Trying not to get my hopes up though, there are alot of people wanting in on this one and im just one in a long line of people hoping to get picked out. Here's to the nerve wracking wait to see if i get the invite!!
