Will there be anything new about the class system in Vanguard or will it be stantard cookie cutter templates, as in Damage dealer, healer, tank, creature handler and crafter?

Since in every game I always start with a mage/necromancer class, I ll try to start with a warrior/shadow-knight in Vsoh. Haven't deside what race I'm going to sellect though.

I'm gonna go with one of the healing classes I think, mostly as a way to help my guild get going. After that, I'll probably make a mage-type to mess around with.

Psionicists are Counterspell and Crowd Control specialists and have a Mana heal. Bloodmages cast Life Drains and Life Taps and use their own HP to heal their allies Diciples are melee healers, they execute martial combo attacks that have the added benefits of group or single heals on your Defensive Target Bezerkers are close combat damage dealers that deal more damage when they are injured or taking damage, forcing them to damage themselves or take more damage to be effective. Those are some classes that I've never seen before, or seem like they will support play styles I haven't seen. Other than that, Classes are broken down into archetypes: Defensive Fighter, Offensive Fighter, Defensive Caster, Offensive Caster and each of those sub groups have at least 4 classes to choose from with variation within.
