I came from 5 long years in UO, then played a few others before finding WoW on its release date.  After 3 longer years of trying to get my wife to play online games with me, she finally indulged in WoW.

Our current guild has many married couples that are a whole lot of fun to play with.  Most of those couples are going to continue to play WoW upon Vanguards release date.

I don't have anything formal yet, just the idea of 5 or so couples getting together to start not necessarily a guild, but a gaming friendship before VSOH comes out on the shelves.  The sky is the limit, however, I (we) can make a webpage, come up with a guild idea, invite friends, etc...

My husband and I come from a very similar background and would love to find a couples guild to join.

Will the collective guild/group be playing on a PvP or PvE server?

Will the guild/group be RP, RP friendly or 'we don't want no stinking RPers'?

My fiance and I currently play in CoH within a SG that has many couples though not only couples and we enjoy the closeness and comradery it has so we may definately be interested.

 

My wife and I are EQ, EQ2, WoW, CoH, CoV and DDO players.  We also play with her unmarried brother and cousins.  If I joined the guild, would they be able to join too?

My wife and I have played EQ, EQII, and WOW over the last 5 years. We each have 6 level 60 toons now and am just about burned out on the "RaidFest" endgame now. We would enjoy joinin up with a couples guild when Vanguard SOH goes live. I will even supply the 'buff post" that comes with the prerelease special edition package. Hope to see ya in game.

I am not sure the OP is still interested, I noticed his post is dated in June and he hasn't responded. Is anyone else willing to start a couples or family orientated guild? Is someone currently running one?

All of us that have responded could start our own. I think it needs to be a family guild, so we can invite close friends too that are not couples. I would be willing to help anyone set it up.

Yes, I can set this up. My wife and I have been playing together since EQ1, EQ2 beta and release and WoW.

I will also be able to supply the website and teamspeak server.

My wife and I have been playing MMO together since Beta of EQ. Weve . We both have extensive high end Raid experience from both EQ and WoW.  I left WoW several months ago but definitely miss the friendships we built. Is this endeavor going to be casual or hardcore. Im my humble opinion, if your going to do something, do it right and be the best you can be.
