I read alot of thread about the game and im an old eq vet so i finally decided to give it a try whats a good server to start on. also once i get a toon name ill throw it up here to make some connections, im certainly interesting in group and having a good time helping others if i can the Psi class has me interest so might try that first.

Talon is the US server and the one that almost everyone uses.  I don't currently play the game (did the trial 3 weeks ago) but from the research i did the other server (EU) is a ghost town.

Welcome to Vanguard. The isle of Dawn starting area (tutorial) is actually kind of fun unlike many other trial areas of other mmo's.

After you get out of it into the real world I recommend making social connections in game; guild or grp that plays the same times as you do.

Being an old eq'er you will feel right at home.

ok so i finally booted up the game and man this is fun im glad i listened. once i get finish with this starting srea i hope i can get out and make some friends. if any vg guys out there want to add volwrathe - talon server - lvl 5 psi im all about grouping or having fun

     Twylight Song are the folks you want to be talking to once off the Isle. An amazing group that is always recruiting.

thanks for the advice inbetween my new daughter and just exploring vg it might be bit but i will look them up

Yeah, I have to say they are a great bunch of people. I was on this weekend and there were 30 online. A few people said "hey, anyone up for x" and bam, part of a group was formed.

Good people all around.
