Best mmo I ever played save bugs... And I have played most... That being said, shut this game down soe! There is no point playing an mmorpg with no massively multiplayer part. My brother still plays and the other day when he was on there was 45 people on for the whole game. Not only should you skip it but everyone playing should stop and let this great game go for good,....

There are hundreds on the NA server, I've been doing instances with a full party this afternoon and I'm only in the teens. Why would you possibly want a great game to be shut down which people are currently enjoying? Since I've started there has never been a moment where I have not found the help I needed, or where a guild member has not offered to help me on a group quest. You say there's 40 people online, there was that many online in my guild last night. |

Now that SOE gave the impression that Vanguard wont be shut down anytime soon, I would easily recommend this game to anyone. Its a good MMO. I wont play it anymore because I dont like to pick up where I left with subbased games after being gone for so long. As for the amount of players. I dont mind myself that a server isnt full. To me that only matters if its important for the player economy or PVP. I rarely PUG anymore and mainly group with the same ppl I bring to every MMO. |

Really depends how bad "lack of players" is. I like a lot of niche games with limited audience sizes. 200k is plenty of subs to keep a game running forever, as long as they're not split across fifty feels-empty servers. 50k's probably more than sufficient to make one server feel active enough. Start going much thinner than that, and you're going to run into some issues. There's Niche, and then there's Dead. Too old for this, am I. |

There are enough subs for vg to feel active now. Roll a toon, join a guild and give the current game a try. Admittedly vg is a very guild centric game, but if you accept that and go with it, I am certain you will enjoy it. I don't think anything else on the market even comes close.

The population has been the major factor to why I have not been able to sub for more than a month in the past 18 months or so. However, with all the new players I'm hearing about, hopefully the population will not be an issue. I don't need millions of players to enjoy my game, but just a handful, I think Vanguard has that now. Playing: EQ2 & VG EverQuest, 52 Paladin <Miraj>, Venril Sathir |

Just resubbed to the last real mmo we have.
If everyone wants to support the mmorpgs we all say we miss there is no better way to show soe and other developers what we want. Currently the best game on market no game has the depth and group content and feel of true scale. Stop moaning support vanguard, have fun, get the game to 1k users an evening its not a difficult goal. Ex. myth of soma, legend of mir, mu online and eudemons online player. Current game : Runescape (until pc build is complete) |
