So basically I just picked Vanguard up after enjoying the trial and was hoping to get a month of enjoyment out of it.

I have rolled a Blood Mage on the Telon realm and am now level 12. However, I literally see no low level players at any time of day to quest or dungeon with. I knew the game was going to be pretty dead when I picked it up but I always see a thread or two on these forums about Vanguard most days... There must be someone out there on Telon realm? :P

I am enjoying the game at the minute but things are starting to get harder and I would like to see some of the dungeons without struggling to solo them. This is probably a stupid thread the way the game seems at the minute but thought id give the forums a go to see if anyone is actually playing on the same realm :)

To be more realistic... Get used to it or get in a guild...

Get in contact with someone from Twighlyte Song. They have the one biggest population of new players. You should be able to find someone to pay with in this guild.

You will have to realize that Telon is huge ..with three continents and population on the slim side ...you will hardly have 15-20 players around your level playing at a given time...and most will be in guilds

There are few things I will suggest--

1) Be a bit more proactive, instead of lfg ..start forming a group and people join soon

2) Join a guild...Twighlyte Song is great for new n mid level players .It is to go guild for 70-80% of new players and they all have gr8 fun together ..never shortage of action n groups...so join that n 80% of ur problem will be solved

3) Use the search panel advanced section to see how many players are playing at your level like b/w 10-15 ..it will show you details of all the players in game ...u can then tell people near ur area , aorund ur level to join u

4) Another way to know number of people around ur lvl is /who all count 10 15 ..it will show u all the players betweenlvl 10 n 15 

5) Keep adding people you meet in the frens section and you will always have people to group when u log in...

The game asks the players to work hard at every lvl, in every field but in the end results are pretty rewarding and satisfying.

Enjoy

You wont see players because

(a) the world is HUGE

(b) you will level to 20 pretty quick

(c) you dont really need a party before 20

(d) you are obviously not using the party tool

(e) you are obviously not in a guild yet

There are definitely players in the 11-20 range on Telon. Just yesterday I checked and I dont remember the exact number, but is was around 2 douzens of them.
