One thing I would suggest to anyone new trying the Trial Island is : Play it using several characters until you find the one you like. Play it to level 10 THEN take up harvesting and crafting so you don't have to do the crafting and harvesting all over again. Make sure you get your harvesting and crafting high before you leave the trial Island so you don't have to play catch up.
