When I click Next after selecting the server I want to play in, nothing happens. Any tips on getting this fixed?

Does it crash or just not let you go forward? Check to make sure there isn't a message on the screen saying that your character name is already  taken. I remember that message being fairly small.

Nothing happens at all. No error, no nothing, it just stays there.

If you have no message it might be an error occured during download, the client launcher is normaly very stable, restart client and perform a file scan, this does a deeper scan than the usual start up one, this should pick up any errors.

Only other thing it might be is firewall/anti virus I had terrible issues with eq2 a number of years ago along a similar vein where the client would launch but I couldnt enter game from char selection.....
