Vanguard is my favorite mmo.  I'm not playing right now because I'm taking the summer off from mmo's and enjoying life.

Vanguard has many things that would be nice to see fixed.

In my opinion # 1 should be Group and Chain quest. Vanguard was made to be a WoW killer way back when. The vision was good.  It was to be a huge game with everything in it at release.  It was a bold and expensive move that had ultimately failed because of time and money.  I'M NOT HERE TO ARGUE THAT. I can't see how anyone could not appreciate it's original plan.

HOWEVER......If the game went according to plan and everything happened as were hoped, there still would have been a problem.

Vanguard was also designed to have the servers constantly full. Zones would need to be full 24/7 because of the massive amount of group quest and content. After level 20 the game's quest turn into small group quest. Soloing turns into almost impossible task. World of Warcraft in it's populated vanilla days would  have a hard time keeping it's players interested in so much group content.

1) Every Guild would have to work as a well oiled team

2) Each zone would have to have large amounts of players to pick up groups

3) Real life friends playing together.

The most major thing I would like to see in Vanguard is to remove much of the group content, or add more solo content.

Hu ?

You can solo all the way up to level 50 in Vanguard.

Its not even very hard. Just more boring and less rewarding than grouping.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over while expecting different results.

Wow op, not sure where you been hiding.  However I have to say vanguard was made for the eq1 folks it was supposed to be the next move for them, or at least that was how soe played it up at the time.

We had all the other stuff in at launch,  however after about the 3rd month it had become a barren landscape.  We cant blame this one guilds this all is to blame on soe, and their lack of support for the game.

Until soe decides it wants to support the game again  nothing like this is ever going to happen.  Folks want fixes, major content release, and so forth, until then its all a pipe dream.

Major thing in vanguard guilds,  they already had that. SOE cant program fake guilds to run things, and cant fix group content when nobody wants to run it.
