So I was curious to see if this game is still around and low and behold it is. As far as I can tell it has reach the Twilight stage of development where all of the software/hardware investments have been made, the costs cut to the max, and the populace consolidated to a couple of servers sporting a few hundrer consequitive logins at a time. 

 I do miss the game somewhat as at one time it had that indescribable Asheron's Call exploration feel that made me want to login just to see more. Unfortunately, way to many things went wrong.  To all who still play - make the best of it while it lasts, as SOE is not known to go to a F2P model for dieing game.

Hard to tell at this point.

But this is SOE we're talking about so I wouldn't believe that these updates are going to happen until the updates actually happen.
