I tried to give VG a go more than a couple times.  If I'm going to play that sort of game I'll just stick with EQ2x.  I honestly feel it's beyond redemption.

SoE should just shut it down and focus on their upcoming games.  I wish, for the people playing the game, Sony would sell it to an indie developer/publisher, but they'll never do that.  So yah, just let it go.  It's horrible watching something that had such potential die an ugly slow death.

The issue (well, one of the issues) is that this type of game doesn't speak to many people. But it does speak to some people.

One of the other issues is that because it doesn't get a lot of love from SOE, players are retticent to play it due to the fear that the game will be closed down any time.

Interesting enough, apparently Sony has been speaking about the game and something is going to be coming down the pike for it. I'm sure it won't be ground breaking but it will be "something".

Vanguard has gotten a lot of attention internally this past week. I do believe that a road map for the game is being worked on. When that road map will be agreed upon and ready for posting, I do not know. When that information is ready to be shared it will be posted as soon as possible.

 Well thats is interesting.  I sent  a question over to feldon  over at eq2wire to ask them if anything has been annouced at fan faire.   Usually anything of any importance for the next year get's announced there.

Now hopefully they will work on it,  it needs to be worked on, there is a lot of bug fixing and other things that really needs to be done.   For one a healty and I mean healthy bunch of players,   and they are going to have to do a lot of fixing and advertising.

I think last year was the same thing.

Not 100% sure but can remember people complaining about it too.

Its a shame, the game is so really good and i know there are people out there wanna play a game like this, but there isnt any advertisement shame on you SOE
