Hey guys, I'm in the process of downloading Vanguard and was wondering what class will get me into a group the quickest. I like playing all roles, but hate sitting LFG for hours. Thanks in advance. |

Depends on your play style. I like playing multiple characters. So I have a variety of classes. It makes grouping easier, but I'm still only around the mid twenties with my highest toon. I don't mind, I like playing the game! If you just want to play the one character all the way to 55, I would suggest playing the character YOU want to play! When it comes down to what are groups looking for? It all depends on what classes they already have in them. Play something you like and see what groups you like playing with. Once you have the hang of the game, you will know what you want to/need to play. Playing ~ Vanguard (and a bit of Everquest II and Age of Conan) |

As anywhere else, tanks is the best option. They are always needed. Dreadknight - best solo tank (highest damage among tanks) Warrior - best mitigation (very high armor and damage mitigation) Paladin - best survivability (self-heals, utility) REALITY CHECK |

Thrillian is correct. In Vangard the most needed class is any of the three tanks. Parties are allways looking for tanks. |

I agree on tanks being the most needed right now. Second would be healers.
As far as being LFG for long periods of time that is inevitable in VG as the population is rather low. Join a good guild and be active in creating groups yourself instead of waiting for somebody to invite you and you will be ahead of the curve |
