I just finished Isle of Dawn and subscribed so now my game is updating. Is this update the whole game (its taking pretty long)? Playing: Vanguard SoH Played: EQ, Planetside, SWG, WoW, EQ2

No you do not need to purchase the game. Sony station launcher is updating to the full game that is why it is taking so long.
