Hey everyone,

I played Vanguard shortly shortly after release. It was sometime in 07, I think it had been out for a few months. I loved the game but my computer just couldnt handle it well enough for me to stick it out. I lagged even at the lowest settings and large groups of people just wrecked my fps. I'm almost certainly coming back to the game here shortly since the wifey has allowed me to purchase a new computer =).

I'm married, just had a kid, and I know how MMO's can get in the way for RL. Im wondering if theres any "family" type guilds out there that are kind of slow paced or atleast pretty relaxed. I will probably be starting over from scratch so I'm not really going to be an asset but I love family type guilds and I'm not going to be playing hardcore. I just want to log on, relax, and chat with some good people while I play the game. If anyone has some info on either a guild or where I can get more leads it would be much appreciated. Thanks guys. Check the server forums.  There are a number of guilds recruiting and you can read what they are all about.  Our guild is family friendly to extent we have one 3 generation family playing and don't have mandatory raids or events.  But unfortunately, guildchat and ventrilo can be laced with some colorful language from time to time.
