I just saw that accounts are reactivated until July....I logged on made a new Human (Thelestra) Sorcerer and went to the beginning city instead of the newbie isle.
Where is everyone!?
Should I start over at the newbie Isle? MMO Played-EQ, EQ2, WOW, DDO, GW, COH, Vanguard MMOs Playing-LOTRO, WAR |

No one is ever at the starter towns anymore because they all are past that now. The people you actually see are jsut crafters and diplomats. you're pretty much stuck soloing until you reach level 15+. But everything should be soloable and you can ask people for help. If you play on the Xeth server I could probably craft you some stuff. Use the world chat, it's very useful and you will get a lot of answers. Ask for help, etc. There should be plenty of people thats willing to. I'd say stick to the starter city and get a feel of your surrounding, you will have the advantage over starting at the Isle. But if you feel that you want some company the Isle is the right place to start. |

Start at the new player island. You might be surprised as to how full of players it is. The rewards you get there are very good and you will get to about lvl 10 and then given the choice to leave and go to a particular place in the world to start off at a quest hub.
You will find players at the original starter areas but not that many. |

Yeah.. Start on the Isle of Dawn. There is a bracelet you can get there, that many lvl 50's are jealous of.

There is absolutely no reason whatsoever not to start in IoD. You get the uber item (will update until you hit level 50, no less, and then it will be fabled), you get uber equipment (for that level, anyway), the quests are good, and you can get a speed start into diplomacy and crafting, and Tier 1 harvesting is easier to get than anywhere else in the game, too.
