After playing through beta and up until about the end of January, I called it quits when I got into another beta with this game (as well as not having enough time at that time to actually do anything). Now, I'm in the process of patching the game up, which should take a good 3 hours, and going to give it another whirl this weekend. It sounds like a lot of good has been done to this game, looking forward to it!

Most of the sites on the 1st page of this threads resources are dead links to domains that are on hold with ads on them. I really would like to see this sticky updated or see a new resource topic since the OP hasn't updated this in 2 years. 

I have to redownload the whole game and for it to patch I have to sub so i'd like to keep up to date without subbing so if I wanted to play again I could just do it without fuss and waiting couple months because the games bigger than my montly allowance. I might be playing free realms if it isn't too kiddy anyways.

heh i might be the one to update the resources if no-ones up for it. I re-subscribed last month and I'm enjoying the game a lot more better then when i was in the beta and the games release.

I'm currently re-exploring the areas outside the starter zones/ isles of dawn in each of the 3 continents, finding resourceful sites like vanguardcrafters.com/ for crafting, www.vgtact.com/ for diplomacy and anguardquests.wikidot.com/start for quest walk through for the Isle of Dawn are few of the good sites i keep track of updates for helpful advise in this world of Vanguard.
