Irth Worlds News - For Some: No Monthly Fee Until 1/1/06

Via their official website forums, the makers of Irth Online have announced that any player who signs up before November 15th will not be paying any monthly fees until the new year. Developers are citing in-game issues and the desire to please their community for this move:

Hail all; We have talked this over in the office, and have come to the conclusion that we should change the starting of the monthly subscription. Therefore Anyone who purchases or has purchased the game prior to 11/15/2005 will not pay a monthly subscription until 1/01/2006. This is when the monthly charges will begin. Why you ask? We feel that with the issues that have been apparent and reported in the game, that it is in the best interest of Magic Hat and the players to resolve every issue and insure people are happy to the point that they will enjoy their online gaming experience with Magic Hat. The sales of Irth Online has met and exceeded our expectations, and this is because of the community. And we need to make sure that we always give back to the people that will make Irth Online great.
