In order to get the most out of it, you'll need to do some stuff before you patch, otherwise you will spend all of the next two days installing the game a second time via patcher.

- Login and select 'Advanced Options'

-Choose 'Change Install Directory'

-Change the location of installation from 'Irth World' to 'Irth'

That's all. Now go away.

Allow me to explain a bit more, and this is very important. Or u might end up downloading the entire game again.

I downloaded the Nov 26 or 28, 2007 install file which is the latest.

The initial install directory by default is set to "C:\program file\Irth " path in the C drive.

However, the updater somehow use "C:\program file\Irth Online " (in my case) as the path for the game, so the 1st time I update, it pretty much download every file all over again.

So, I went to change the install directory as Zikiel posted, and the update took less than 5 minutes.
