As of 12:00 CST today, 12th March 2010, Palestar is proud to announce that DarkSpace is now totally free to play. Back in October 2009 we opened up a large portion of the rank structure for free play, although progress was limited beyond 1st Rear Admiral rank to Subscribing members only. Now this restriction has been removed so that all players have full access to the game for free, although we still encourage players to subscribe in order to help keep the game servers running.
