Cronous News - Release Date Set

eGames announced today that their MMORPG "Chronos" will be releasing on October 4, 2004. The official press release is below:
| The New Cronous version 2.0 - The Legacy of Primordium - Upgraded with More Features and Excitement! Kuala Lumpur - This 4th of October is going to be another exciting time for the online gaming community as the widely renowned online games publisher, e-Games, unveils yet another of its games beyond the beta stage. The game Cronous version 2.0 - The Legacy of Primordium is a Massively Multiplayer Online Game set in a fantasy era. With its going Pay to Play (P2P) a world of new features will be added. This release will include 3 Mystery Boss Quests, "Altar of Blood", "Altar of Lava" and "Lava Stone Antaras". These quests will come complete with their own story line and goals to achieve, the goals being to defeat a powerful monster and its minions. To ensure that both serious and hardcore players get to join in the fun, the quests have been structured to accommodate both types of players accordingly. In this release new weapons will also be added. These "Weapons of Divine Soul" as they are called are unique to Cronous as they too can gain experience alongside the characters, becoming stronger and gaining new abilities over time. Four series of weapons will carry these characteristics a sword, a bow, a wand and a hammer. While every character type has an opportunity to wield one of the above weapons, finding them would not be easy as they are only dropped by monsters. Players can they can choose to top up their accounts with e-Games point cards for game play. Game subscription will be as low as RM0.50 an hour or RM35 for an unlimited 30 day subscription. Players can purchase e-Games point cards at all participating cybercafés. This game is available in both English and Chinese versions.
