This is a real deep game, you get out what you put in. I know I love it because it's one of the games that make me scream at the monitor.

I didn't rate the game down even though it is tempted. In most areas its a nice game. Hell in some its the best going now. But in key areas it absolutely sucks.
Not only is skill advancement purely time based, meaning you contribute nothing, but you can just buy other peoples characters getting pay to progress. Which considering the time based progress giving you access to far more powerful equipment.. is pay to win.
And from the very start. Before they started all that.. The game failed to make me feel like I was piloting a craft of any kind. Amazing economy. Great variety of equipment and ships.. But the base piloting mechanics are so lacking that is counters all of that.

...Played it, got confused with interface; so complex. Not really into PvP on any game... so it wasn't good to me. Indeed, new player beware.

I've been an avid player since 2008. If you really get into all aspects of it, Eve Online is the only MMO that could really give you a challenge instead of the standard point-click-repeat aspects of most MMOs. Currently working on a more formal review of it, but it is the hardcore of the hardcore. New players beware.

Great game. Didn't like it on first contact, but came back to it later and am having a blast. Some elements of the community are quite annoying, but that is true of almost any MMO.

I really hated this game the first time I played it. I actually uninstalled it after about 30-45 minutes of play. Well, anyway a few days ago I though what the heck and gave it another try. I have to admit once you get past the intro this game is awesome. I find myself enjoying it more and more every time I log in. From the cool lore all the way to the player run economy Eve is a great game and I highly recommend it. P.S. People say that the learning curve is much higher then most MMOs and it is. But it really isnt all that daunting if you just put forth a little effort.

I've been playing for some time, and I like this game more and more every time that I log in. The depth, complexity, and sandbox nature of EVE are the best of any MMO that I've played.

Started playing almost a month ago, and I'm having a blast. This game is completely different from any MMO you'll have played. If you're bored of the current stagnating genre, you love a persistant world with meaningful open PK, where there are hundreds of different things to do... Definitely give EVE a try. Send me a PM and I can send you a 21-day trial and give you some starting cash too (as opposed to the 15-day one).
