  • CCP Partners with Nexon for Japanese Service

    CCP and Nexon have announced that the two companies have reached an agreement to bring EVE Online to Japan. Nexon will provide a localized version of the game in Japan as well as provide key support for Japanese customers. CCP will continue to manage and develop EVE.

  • Devs & CSM Reach Accord on Virtual Goods

    Recently, the leak of an internal memo with regard to the selling of virtual items in the EVE Online 'NeX' store caused an epic stir in the community. As a result, CCP and the Council of Stellar Management held an 'extraordinary' meeting to discuss the issue. The two groups have reached an agreement with regard to virtual goods, namely that only vanity items will be sold.

    According to a report published at Develop Online, EVE Online developer CCP Games could lost nearly a million dollars due to cancelled subscriptions. A document has surfaced with the names of over five thousand players indicating they will be cancelling their EVE subscription over recent documents focused around the company's microtransaction revenue model.

  • Incarna 1.0.1 Patch Notes Posted

    The EVE Online site has been updated with the official patch notes for the Incarna v1.0.1 patch that is scheduled to be deployed tomorrow, June 28th. The patch addresses several bug fixes to the interface and graphics among other things.
