1) Player created missions and storyline arcs.

2) Make the universe more dynamic instead of one static never changing map.

Note: its funny to see a forum display name of "CasualGamer" posting about EvE Online :P

1) Would be nice, don't think this is hard to implement, but I think EvE, in a sense, already have this ingame

2) Really hard to implement, GW2 took most of its time to create a dynamic world, and considering how big EvE world is creating a complete dynamic world at that scale would be nuts. Players are the dynamic factor here, player create the events ingame PvP and economy.

No man controls my destiny... especially not one who attacks downwind and stinks of garlic.

I was not aware Eve's future was in peril and needs saving.  Although if you listen to all the cry babies, it's a doomed pay to win, cash shop infested turd (which is hardly the case).  Anywho...

No problem with number one.  Might want to give more details on how you would like to see this implemented.  To be honest though, being a 0.0 dweller I could care less about missions and storyline arcs.  To each their own.

As far as number two, please explain what you mean.  How you would like the map to change?  Do you want new systems being added or destroyed?  While the physical map does not change, the political map is quite dynamic and changes daily, or even hourly in some cases.  I am speaking of sovereignty of course.  Maybe you would like to able to discover new systems?  Expand the jove/eve gate/etc storyline?  Not quite sure what you mean here.

I am just curious as to why you think EVE future needs saving? IMO it gets better with every expansion (minus Dominion).

I know Vendetta Online already has some player generated content via it's Player Contribution Corp. If you could have a seperate program of sort that allows players to build a mission or a story arc  and then submit it to CCP for tweaking I think we can actually have an EVE universe where players feel like they are actually part of an ongoing storyline as oppose to just skipping along the surface.

I honestly think a dynamic sandbox is the future of MMORPGs. Empire space in EVE has never changed, high-sec, low sec and null space have remained as they always have. Logically it makes no sense that an Empire would not expand to fully control regions that which it only partially controls currently (making low sec into new high sec space) . Null space should be able to be changed into low sec/high sec by player initiative. A new empire if you will.

The only luck I had today was to have you as my opponent.

you know what that "sec" stadns for, right?

you want to...pay concord to defend your system? like buy NPC pilots ships and stuff and pay them special rent to defend your sov?

if you look at the fit of a concord vessel you'll see why that's a problem. however if you could build, fully fit and maintain a NPC concord-like fleet, basically donate ships and fits and what not to NPC pilots to patrol around, that'd be nice.

Yes, games that I play to pass the time should be time-consuming. That's why I play them.

Null sec space is effectively high sec, if you belong to the alliance that owns it.  That's what player created means.

It would be interesting to see if the NPC faction can successfully invade some alliance's area.  I doubt it, unless the devs take control.

EVE's future is fine, no need to save it, just expand on it, but...

Ahh pipe dreams,

What i thought would be amazing would be if eve in some way could add entire systems that were owned by corps, and entry exit gate's could be configured to jump to other corps systems and the static universe systems, that way you would have an expanding and colapsing universe, where new systems are added and removed, of course this is just a pipe dream and the server infrastructure to accomidate this would have to be huge, along with a mechanics system that could be controlled from exploit.

Just have to wait a gazillion years for infinity, haha.

TERA has an interesting idea for a political system. If empires in EVE were truely nations with people with needs and wants there'd actually be a reason to fight and secure space.

I agree about the Tera argument.
