what do you mean? CEO is just the title of the leader nothing else nothing more (AND ALL THAT RESPONSABILITY THAT TAKES TO BE)
anyways... im sure there is a lot of CEO guides out there just googling... http://blog.swagvault.com/2008/10/24/eve-online-corporation-guide/ There is no knowledge that is no power. |

I don't think its a good idea creating a corp if you have to ask that question. "If all you can say is... "It's awful, it's not innovative, it's ugly, it's blah.." Then you're an unimaginative and unpolished excuse for human life" -eburn |

...I meant...Does it take much headache?OR additional time in game? |

Depends on what type of corp, it's focus, and how successful you want it to be. There is a lot more to running a corp then having a 'good idea' for a corp name. Hell, recruiting alone is enough reason not to do it. I've run several corps over my 7 years in this game. Most of the time I've just been handed the job when the old CEO decides to "take a break", but I've started one or two on my own. By creating a corp, you declare yourself a leader. Your people will look to you constantly for advice and content. With Eve being a sandbox game, corp leaders spend a lot of time answering the "what are we gonna do tonight?" question. You need to know the game fairly well. You need to understand something beyond the basics of what your corp focus is. You don't have to be an expert, but if you've never engaged in Eve PvP, starting your own pirate corp may not be the best option. Honestly, being a CEO is more of a headache than anything. Constant chats, politics, whining, planning, wars... It can be trying. It can also be fun, if you have a goal and can get everyone pointed in the right direction(see herding cats). Your corp is what you make it. Extra time and effort aren't required, but if you aren't willing to put them in, I'd suggest finding an established corp to hang out with for now. |

From the perspective of someone who has found most corporation experiences disappointing: don't form a corp just because you are a good player or have a lot of experience in the game. A good CEO will be a good LEADER, and have a plan for the implementation and success of his corporation. Seems to me that most corp CEO's just formed a corp because they were experienced players and were simply looking for the next thing to do. |
